Spring is all about light fabrics and nice patterns, so it’s no wonder that checked trousers will be THE must have in the new season. But when there’s pattern on your legs what should you wear with it? We prepared three styles we’re sure you’d love to wear, all with checked trousers, so perfect as your new favourite spring looks! Scroll down and get inspired!

Outfit 1 – Love in earthy tones

For outfit number 1 we styled some yellow and red checked trousers that almost seem brownish when looking at them from far away. As we love to mix some patterns we wore them with this perfect Dutch army jacket in similar colours. A nice soft turtle-neck pullover, a dark belt and some red accents make this look stand out.

Outfit 2 – Check and check

As mentioned before: There could never be too much pattern. For this outfit we chose some black and white checked trousers and paired them with a differently checked blazer in red and green. The red Adidas t-shirt and the black shoes complete the look. Put on some nice golden jewellery and red lipstick and off we go!

Outfit 3 – A nice sporty touchThree ways to style Checked trousers Dogdays of Summer Vintage Online shop Retro fashion Austria Europe

Another spring favourite: Light jackets! Perfect with every outfit. For this one we chose a turquoise-purple sports jacket and a sporty sweater in a similar colour. Perfectly styled with some black and white checked trousers. And because we wanted to make it super-vernal we skipped the warm tights and wore fishnet stockings instead. With sporty Adidas socks and white sandals of course.
