Smoothies are said to be the perfect snack for in between and not only healthy but also great as a sports drink. If you add chia seeds to your smoothie it even makes you full for quite a long time. Besides, chia seeds are really healthy and a so-called “super-food”. Try this Very Berry Smoothie with chia seeds and see for yourself. It’s not only delicious but also great to take away.
Very Berry Smoothie with Chia Seeds
What you need (for 4 people):
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1-2 very ripe bananas
1/8 cantaloupe
1/3 cup coconut milk
water
3 tbsp chia seeds
How to make it:
1. The day before, put your chia seeds into a jar with lid. Add the coconut milk and fill it up with water. Put the lid on the jar and shake it very well.
2. The next day, put all the fruits with two cups of water in a blender and blend until smooth. Add some more water, if you want it more liquid.
3. Now add the chia-coconut-mixture and mix for around 10 second. Your smoothie is ready to be served now!
