The new collection we released today – a mini collection consisting of vintage lingerie – is something very special for us. Not only that we love lace, sheer and shiny fabrics and sensual clothes but also their countries of origin are amazing: More than half of it was made in Austria.
The most surprising piece for us was a white lace body, made in Austria – but from H&M. As you can see: Years ago, H&M could do it differently! No producing in China, Bangladesh or Cambodia but in Europe. Why did this change? Why do sweatshops nowadays don’t respect people’s rights and their needs? What happened?
While these questions aren’t answered and while these problems aren’t solved we need to think differently! We need to stop supporting big chains and start buying from small, local designers that produce in a sustainable way. Or you buy vintage – as we do!
